DJ Davda

DJ Davda is the host of the KISS Dancehall Show on KISS, Sunday nights from 11pm to 1am.

DJ Davda has been broadcasting on radio since the age of 16. Starting off at internet station 'I’m In Radio' in 2015, Davda then made the move to Westside Radio in late 2016 and began presenting a weekly Saturday evening show. He solidified his slot on community radio and presented two weekly shows; the Mix Jam (Sat 3-7pm) and the Mix & Blend (Thurs 7-9pm). In December 2019 & 2020, Davda successfully applied to be a part of the BBC Radio 1 Christmas Schedule and sat in for Toddla T and Jeremiah Asiamah on Radio 1’s Soundsystem. This led to being a regular dep for Jerry in late 2020 & 2021. In April 2021, Davda also covered shows on KISS and made his debut on KISS Fresh. Shortly after he was offered a permanent position on KISS Fresh on Saturdays 7-9pm. This year, Davda joined the KISS Nights line-up on KISS, hosting the KISS Dancehall Show on Sunday nights from 11pm to 1am.

As a DJ, Davda regularly plays in conjunction with event brands such as DLT, Recess and Bashment Party at venues such as Boxpark, O2 Academy, and Ace Hotel. In 2019, Davda linked up with Inchy and became one half of London sound Pure Vibes, who play music across the globe, whether that be weekenders in Turkey, stages at Notting Hill Carnival, or sound clashes. He also plays in-store sets for Nike and Primark. In the summer of 2021, Davda was the official main stage DJ for Strawberries & Creem Festival and in 2022 and 2023 Davda played sets abroad for KISS and KISSTORY in Mallorca, Marbella and Ibiza and in the UK for the KISS Freshers Tour and KISSTORY.

Davda also runs a studio in North-West London 'Davda Studios' which offers top quality recording, mixing, mastering, and music production. Credits include K More, J Kaz & The RaRa.
