Ellie Scarlet
Ellie Scarlet is an accomplished radio and TV presenter, and a proud northern girl with an infectious passion for life and performance.
Known for her dynamic energy, Ellie has built a diverse career hosting a wide range of events, from touring the UK with the live production of BBC's Robot Wars to waking up the city of Leeds daily on one of the North's biggest breakfast shows at Leeds Dance Radio.
Her career as a presenter began while she was still completing her first-class degree in Dance and Musical Theatre at Wilkes Academy, where she honed her craft and learned from industry greats such as Ant and Dec and Stephen Mulhern. During this time, Ellie was chosen to host alongside Jonathan Wilkes, marking the start of her journey in broadcasting.
Ellie’s passion for music, performance, and connecting with people led her to presenting roles almost immediately after graduation. Within days, she was hosting a children’s show and touring the UK with one of the wildest events on the circuit—Bonkers Bingo, known for its lively atmosphere and party vibes. These early experiences allowed Ellie to refine her presenting style, which blends professionalism with infectious enthusiasm.
While Ellie thrives in the world of presenting, her first love will always be in dance and musical theatre and she dreams to combine the both to hosting events and interviewing the stars!
When she's not behind the camera or microphone, you can find her teaching barre and pilates classes, or staying active with trail runs through the beautiful Yorkshire countryside. Her love for fitness and well-being is at the heart of her philosophy—she is committed to spreading positivity, whether through her on-air presence, dance performances, or personal interactions. Her motto is simple: "Spread smiles and embrace the joy in every day.”
Ellie is also a passionate advocate for inclusivity and diversity in the entertainment and sports industries. She is dedicated to inspiring the next generation, particularly encouraging young girls to pursue careers in fields traditionally dominated by men, such as Formula 1, motorsports, and engineering. With her own work frequently crossing into these male-dominated sectors, Ellie actively works to make these industries more accessible and welcoming for women, all while encouraging young people to explore STEM subjects and activities.
Despite her youth, Ellie has already gained a reputation for her northern charm, which brings warmth, energy, and enthusiasm to everything she does. At just 22, she has established herself as a versatile and in-demand presenter, with a track record of being asked back for every project she takes on. Always on the lookout for new opportunities, Ellie is ready to take on new challenges in any field of presenting. Whether behind a microphone or in front of a camera, Ellie excels at connecting with audiences and delivering her best performance.
