Charlie Powell joins Capital to host shows on Capital Dance and The Capital Weekender

Charlie Powell is joining Global as the new host of The Capital Weekender (Saturdays & Sundays 1.30am–5am) and Monday afternoons on dance station, Capital Dance (4-7pm).

Her first show as part of The Capital Weekender line-up will be tomorrow (Sat 2nd Jan), bringing listeners non-stop party anthems across the Capital network. Her first Monday drivetime show on Capital Dance will be next Monday 4th January 4-7pm.

Charlie says “I’m so excited to be joining the Capital family. It hasn’t sunk in yet, but it’s a dream come true. My passion is always playing the biggest and best dance music for everyone and I am so grateful to have the opportunity to do this on the Capital Weekender & Capital Dance! I can’t wait to get started!”
