Ellie Scarlet is an accomplished radio and TV presenter, and a proud northern girl with an infectious passion for life and performance.
Known for her dynamic energy, Ellie has built a diverse career hosting a wide range of events, from touring the UK with the live production of BBC's Robot Wars to waking up the city of Leeds daily on one of the North's biggest breakfast shows at Leeds Dance Radio.

We are delighted to announce Freya Cox as a new artist on the Westside Talent roster.
Freya is a Northern Radio presenter based in York.
Freya started her career in radio at BBC Radio York in 2024, her passion for presenting came from her love of a chat! She presents the Summer Saturday afternoon show on BBC Radio York 2-6pm, and regularly covers the Coastal show across Yorkshire.
Her career took off after appearing as the first ever vegan contestant on the Great British Bake Off in 2021. She has gone on to publish an award winning debut recipe book and create content for some huge brands. This is across her 150k followers on social media.

Fee Mak (BBC Radio 1Xtra) and Jojo Silva (Capital XTRA) are set to be the main stage hosts at the London Book Fair. The event takes place from the 11th to the 13th of March with the Writers' Summit taking place on 10th March.
Jojo Silva, will host the Writers' Summit on Monday 10th March at the Novotel West London. The Writers’ Summit is a one-day event designed to help writers at all stages of their careers advance in the publishing world. Featuring expert advice from literary agents, publishers, and bestselling authors, the summit offers helpful insights, workshops, networking opportunities, and inspiring discussions.
Fee Mak, will host Day 2 of the London Book Fair on Wednesday 12th March at Olympia London in Kensington. Esi has joined the weekend schedule on Kiss with a brand new show 'Esi on Kiss', every Saturday and Sunday from 3pm. The show will be playing the biggest Dance and R&B.
In addition to the show, Esi can still be heard on the Rap Show on Kiss Fresh, weekday Breakfast on Kiss Fresh and Drivetime on Kisstory R&B.

Andrea Zara has joined the brand new line up on global dance radio station One World Radio which is the official station for the world's biggest dance festival Tomorrowland. Andrea will be on the 'Your Saturday' show, Saturday's from 2-6pm. Andrea's first show starts on Saturday January the 11th.
In addition to the regular hosts, other new shows on the station include Hardwell and Yotto.

Leanne Louise will be joining the BBC Radio 1 schedule this Christmas to host Radio 1's Dance Anthems on Saturday December 28th, 4-7pm.
Leanne will be a part of the line-up for the stations Christmas Takeover from Boxing Day until New Year’s Eve, giving new presenters and DJs the chance to broadcast on the UK’s biggest youth radio station.
Created by Radio 1’s Head of Station, Aled Haydn Jones, in 2019, the initiative continues to offer fresh voices and emerging talent the unique opportunity to broadcast during one of the most exciting times of the year and has been extremely successful in showcasing and supporting the next generation of presenting talent.

As the popularity of book clubs grows, so does the number of people in their 20s finding this an enjoyable way to meet and socialise. 25 year old friends Emily D’Souza, Hana Owens and Josh Pullinger set up their book club for 20 somethings It’s Hardback Out Here in London. They join Fee Mak and Jojo Silva to discuss Gen Z’s love of sharing reading, and to recommend books they’re passionate about.

The event brings together top authors and their readers for a week of history, poetry, biography, creative writing, fiction, thrillers, gardens, food, wine, politics and children’s books. The sixteenth Chiswick Book Festival will take place from 11 to 18 September 2024. You’ll get a flavour for it from last year’s brochure.
On Saturday 14th September, at 2.15pm, Fee will be in conversation with Alan Edwards to talk about the behind the scenes stories of some of our best known pop stars. Called the Godfather of British music PR, Alan Edwards has worked with some of the most iconic music stars of our time from David Bowie to The Spice Girls. In his book I Was There he describes his career from his break in the mid 70s to the crazy days of pop in the 90s. The talk, titled 'Dispatches from a Life in Rock and Roll' takes place at Theatre at the Tabard. Tickets are £10.
On Sunday 15th September, at 3.30pm, Fee talks to author Krystle Zara Appiah about her debut novel. A marriage in crisis and ambivalence around motherhood are key to the plot of Rootless, the accomplished and compelling debut title from Krystle Zara Appiah. The talk takes place at Theatre at the Tabard and tickets are £10.

On Sunday 15th September, at 3.15pm Jojo Silva talks spells and sorcery with Tabitha Stanmore. The Social historian of magic and witchcraft and author of Cunning Folk: Life in the Era of Practical Magic - Long before Google, magic and witchcraft were called upon by our ancestors to address everyday issues.

Fee Mak will be the Main Stage host at Move It 2025 alongside hosting the Spotlight Sofa. MOVE IT is the world’s biggest dance event and takes place 7 – 9 March 2025, at ExCeL London.
